UK Cyber Security: The Role of Insurance in Managing and Mitigating the Risk
A report by HM Government and insurance broker and risk adviser Marsh announces joint initiatives between government and the insurance sector to help firms understand cyber risk, to establish cyber insurance as part of firms’ cyber toolkits and cement London as the global centre for cyber risk management. The report notes that cyber risk is a significant and growing risk, alongside risks posed by geopolitics, the environment and the economy.
